MATH TUTORING FOR ALL LEVELS
Math can be challenging and stressful for many students. At Cedar, we understand that and we offer qualified math tutors that can help your child conquer and understand math. We offer math tutoring from elementary to high school.
We help students build the foundations in math so that they are able to continue building upon these skills and applying them inside and outside of the classroom. We are dedicated to helping your child understand and succeed in math.
THE IMPORTANCE OF MATH TUTORING
Students often struggle with math because each new topic they learn is built upon a previous concept. If one concept is unclear, it will be extremely difficult and frustrating for the student to move forward to develop more advanced math skills.
Math tutoring is crucial for students who have gaps or a weak foundation in their math knowledge. Tutoring is also important for students who need to challenge themselves to grasp more advanced math problems.
WHAT IS A CEDAR MATH SESSION LIKE?

Concept Building
During our tutoring session, your child will go over the material they are covering inside the classroom. They will be given the opportunity to ask any questions they have, review assignments, complete their homework, and prepare for any upcoming tests or quizzes. The tutor will also provide your child with lessons on concepts that your child struggles with. These are past concepts that your child should have already learned and mastered.
